We regularly inspect our factories, sign up to various customers Sound Sourcing policies which in turn involve further factory inspections and are an audited member of TOYCRED.
SAFETY
Keel Toys Ltd is committed to supplying quality soft toys that are safe for the consumer. We need to be able to show ‘due diligence’ especially on safety issues. Therefore all toys must conform to all applicable legislation. Safety, like quality is planned into every product. The safety of our items is of paramount importance when considering the young age of consumers in this industry. When producing items, due diligence is show at all times to ensure the product is safe for it’s end use.
All known standards for testing relevant products are adhered to they include:
- EN71-1 Mechanical properties of toys
- EN71-2 Flammability of toys
- EN71-3 Heavy metal content of toys
All of our products are tested by a lab that is a member of an accredited testing agency for example, KOLAS or HKLAS. Our products are all individually tested and retested when the test certification expires. The test certificates are required before the item ships so any failed toys can be corrected at manufacturing source.
It is Keel Toys unerring policy that safety must never be compromised. Children explore and are inquisitive so we show due diligence at all times when creating and designing a product for them. We have many procedures in place during our manufacturing stages to ensure safety is our top priority. Maintaining our excellent reputation is extremely important to us.
